Rowley resident Danika Prendergast accepted her $2500 scholarship from Ipswich-Rowley Rotary at the club’s regular meeting on July 30 at the Village Pancake House in Rowley.

Danika is heading to the University of Alabama to major in criminology and criminal justice.  Her goal is to become a police officer.

In addition to her academic accomplishments at Triton Regional High School, Danika was a leader in her school.  She served as a class officer for four years and was President of the Community Service Club.  She participated in numerous sports and was a DECA officer and a National Community Service Ambassador.

She and Maggie Carlberg, our Ipswich recipient, already have made meaningful contributions to their communities and plan to continue that commitment in the future.  We congratulate them on their achievements and wish them the best of success.
