The District Environmental Committee, sponsored by the Ipswich-Rowley Rotary Club, brings Rotarians from across the district together to explore environmental issues affecting our communities and our world. Meeting by Zoom on the last Thursday evening of each month, the committee provides an open, collaborative forum for members to raise concerns, exchange ideas, share resources, and learn from one another. Our focus is education and awareness around current environmental challenges and practical ways to make a positive difference. Topics may include conservation, clean water, sustainability, reducing plastic use and pollution, waste reduction, renewable energy, pollinators, environmental health, and other issues brought forward by members. No environmental expertise is needed. We welcome anyone who is curious, concerned, or interested in learning more. Bring your questions, ideas, and concerns as we work together to build awareness and inspire positive change.
