Jane has a Doctoral Degree from Harvard University in Organizational Development. She is a dedicated community volunteer whose initiative has made a meaningful difference for older adults in Ipswich.

Recognizing the financial strain that property taxes can place on older homeowners, Jane identified a problem and set out to create a solution. She organized the local effort, worked with the Ipswich Assessor’s Office, developed and wrote legislation, and brought it forward to the Massachusetts House and Senate. The legislation passed, making property tax deferral an option for eligible older homeowners in Ipswich who may be struggling to pay their property taxes.
